NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 23rd February, 2026
S.O. 1040(E).—whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number S.O.No. 5296(E). Dated 19.11.2025 Published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II
Section 3 Sub section (ii), Gazette Issue No: 5125, dated. 20.11.2025 (herein after referred to as said notification) and
issued under sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government declares
its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose construction
of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No. 147 at Km.573/17-19 between Kondapalli and
Rayanapadu Stations in 02 villages in NTR District in the state of Andra Pradesh.
And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers "Sakshi", "Andhra Jyothy"
and "Deccan Chronicle" on 25th November, 2025 with the approval of the Deputy Chief Engineer/Construction Road
Safety Projects, Secunderabad, under sub-section (1); Section 20A of this Act.
And whereas, any objection has not been filed within the stipulated time limit.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20 (E) of this Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its
report to the Central Government.
Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands mentioned in
the Schedule have been annexed. To be obtained here for the purpose mentioned.
Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of this Act, the Central Government hereby declares on
publication of notification in the Official Gazette. That the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest
absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
SCHEDULE
Description of Lands in Acquisition: Construction of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing
(LC) No. 147 at Km.573/17-19 between Kondapalli and Rayanapadu Stations in 02 villages in NTR District in
the state of Andhra Pradesh jurisdiction. Brief description of land to be acquired with or without structures in
a particular railway project.
