The Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway) issued S.O. 4192(E) dated 24th September, 2024, Secunderabad, stating that pursuant to earlier notification S.O. 1293(E) dated 12th March, 2024, issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government had declared its intention to acquire land for execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Daulatabad Goods Siding special railway project in Aurangabad district, Maharashtra. The substance of that notification was published in the newspapers 'Lokmat', 'Lokmat Times' and 'Lokmat Samachar' dated 10th October, 2023, under sub-section (4) of section 20A. Objections received from Talesamand village were considered and orders passed by the Competent Authority, whose report was submitted to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 20E. The Central Government, exercising powers under sub-section (1) of section 20E, declared that the Schedule land shall be acquired, and, under sub-section (2) of section 20E, that upon publication the land vests absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances. E-313959/20E/240924 ] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South Central R ailway) NOTIFICATION Secunderabad , the 24th September, 2024 S.O. 419 2(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number, S.O 1293 (E) dated the 12th March, 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub -section(ii), dated the 12th March, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub -section(1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government declared it s intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely Daulatabad Goods Siding project in the District of Aurangabad in the State of Maharashtra. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily News Paper “Lokmat” "Lokmat Times" & “Lokamt Samachar” dated 10 October , 2023, under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, in Talesamand village, certain objections were received and the same have been considered by the competent Authority accordingly orders have been passed: And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
