No. RSP/Gazette/20E/LC.No.213/GY-WD/GTL] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Secunderabad, the 20th February, 2026 S.O. 956(E). - Whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O.No.5749(E) Dated. 11-12-2025. Published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II Section 3 Sub section (ii) issued under sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the Construction of Road Over Bridge in Lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No.213 in Matmari Village of Raichur Taluka in Raichur District, in the state of Karnataka. And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers the Samyukta Karnataka Dated: 26-12-2025, Deccan Herald Dated: 26-12-2025 and Praja Vani Dated: 27-12-2025 with the approval of Manoj Kumar, Chief Engineer, Construction. South Central Railway, Secunderabad, under sub-section (1); Section 20A of this Act. And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20 (E) of this Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands mentioned in the Schedule have been annexed. To be obtained here for the purpose mentioned above: Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of this Act, the Central Government, hereby declares on publication of notification in the Official Gazette, that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central government is from all encumbrances.
