The Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway) issued Notification S.O. 3036(E) on June 11, 2026, declaring the acquisition and absolute vesting of specific lands in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances. This acquisition is for the purpose of constructing a Road over Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing No. 27 at Km. 317/5-7 between Potkapalli and Bisugirsheriff stations in the state of Telangana. This declaration is made under sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 20(E) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989). This action follows an initial declaration of intention to acquire land made by Notification S.O.No.1990 (E) dated April 21, 2026, published by the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) under sub-section (1) of section 20(A) of the same Act. An extract of the initial notification was published in the daily newspapers Deccan Chronicle and Sakshi Daily News Paper on April 30, 2026, with the approval of Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Chief Project Manager/Gati Sakthi-I, Secunderabad, South Central Railway. Objections were subsequently received by the Competent Authority, Revenue Divisional officer, Peddapalli, for Sanagonda village of Odela Mandal, Peddapalli District, Telangana. NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 11th June, 2026

S.O. 3036(E).—Whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board), number, S.O.No.1990 (E). Dated.21.04.2026 Published in the Gazette of India, Part-II Section 3 Sub section
(ii), (herein after referred to as said notification) and issued under sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act,
1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed
to the said notification for the Construction of Road over Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing No.27 at Km. 317/5- 7
between Potkapalli and Bisugirsheriff stations in the state of Telangana.

And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers Deccan Chronicle on 30
April 2026, Sakshi Daily News Paper on 30 April 2026 with the approval of Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Chief Project
Manager/ Gati Sakthi-I, Secunderabad, South Central Railway, under sub-section (1); Section 20A of this Act.

Whereas, for Competent Authority, Revenue Divisional officer, Peddapalli, have objections received for
Sanagonda village of Odela Mandal, Peddapalli District of Telangana State.

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20 (E) of this Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its
report to the Central Government.

Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands mentioned
in the Schedule have been annexed. To be obtained here for the purpose mentioned above;

Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of this Act, the Central Government hereby declares
on publication of notification in the Official Gazette, that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest
absolutely in the Central government is free from all encumbrances.
