The Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway), vide Notification S.O. 2463(E) dated 11th May, 2026, issued from Secunderabad, declares the Central Government's intention to acquire land for the 'Third line between Gudur - Renigunta stations (83.17 Km)' Special Railway Project in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh. This declaration is made in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989). The project, spanning 83.17 Km, is intended for passenger and freight facilities. Any person interested in the land may raise objections within thirty days from the notification's publication date in the official gazette, as per sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act. Objections must be made in writing to the Competent Authority, specifically the Joint Collector (land acquisition), Tirupati, Tirupati district, who will provide an opportunity for hearing and issue a final order under sub-section (II) of section 20(D) of the Act. Land plans and other details are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office. The Schedule annexed to the notification details land to be acquired in villages across Yerpedu, Renigunta, and Srikalahasthi Mandals within Tirupati District. Specifically, land parcels are listed for Merlapaka (total 3.41 Acs.), Chinna Anjimedu (total 3.47 Acs., including 32 Mango Trees), Pedda Anjimedu (total 4.37 Acs., including 66 Mango Trees), Yerpedu (total 0.87 Acs.), Seetharampeta (total 0.18 Acs.), Krishnapuram (total 2.14 Acs., including 22 Mango Trees), and Rachagunneri (total 1.00 Acs.). The acquired land includes various types such as Cheruvu Poramboke, Patta Wet/Dry, DKT Wet/Dry, Road, Thaka-Poramboke, and Rastha-Poramboke, with some parcels having structures like Shed, Fencing, or a Well. The notification was signed by K. NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 11th May, 2026

S.O. 2463(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railway Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred as in as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the
public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule annexed hereto, is required for the
purpose of execution of the Special Railway Project namely, “Third line between Gudur - Renigunta stations (83.17
Km)", in Tirupati district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land:

Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this
notification in the official gazette, raise objections to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under
sub- section (1) of section 20D of the said act:

Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely Joint Collector (land acquisition),
Tirupati, Tirupati district in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority namely Joint
Collector (land acquisition), Tirupati, Tirupati district shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in
person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any,
as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.

Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (II) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be
final.

The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected
by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
