This notification, S.O. 1314(E) issued by the Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway) from Secunderabad on March 10, 2026, declares the acquisition of specific lands for the "Bypass line between Yerpedu-Pudi stations (25.36Km.)" Special Railway Project in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh. This action is taken under sub-section (1) of section 20E of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), following the Central Government's earlier declaration of intention to acquire via notification S.O. 3790(E) dated August 01, 2025, which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated August 19, 2025. The substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers, namely "Sakshi(Telugu) and The New India Express (English)", on August 23, 2025, by K. Suryanarayana, Chief Engineer-III, Construction Organization Secunderabad, under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the Act. No objections were filed within the statutory time limit, and the competent authority submitted its report to the Central Government. In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government further declares that upon publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the lands specified in the annexed schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances. NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 10th March, 2026
S.O. 1314(E). - Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board), number, S.O 3790 (E) dated the 01st August2025 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section
3 Sub-section(ii), dated the 19th August 2025 (here in after referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-
section(1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989(24 of 1989), the Central Government declares its intention to
acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance,
management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely "Bypass line between Yerpedu-Pudi stations
(25.36Km.)", in Tirupati district in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely "Sakshi(Telugu)
and The New India Express (English)" on 23rd August 2025 by K.Suryanaryana, Chief Engineer-III, Construction
Organization Secunderabad under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act;
And whereas no objections have been filed within the statutory time limit.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its
report to the Central Government;
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the
schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government here by
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed here
to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
