This notification, S.O. 2377(E), issued by the Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway) on May 1, 2026, and published in the Gazette of India on May 8, 2026, formalizes the acquisition of land in Kaikaram Village of Unguturu Mandal in Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh. This follows an initial declaration of intention by the Central Government via notification S.O.No.4909 dated October 27, 2025, under sub-section (1) of Section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), for the construction of a Road Over Bridge at Km 518/6-8, replacing Level Crossing No.364. An extract of the initial notification was published in the Deccan Chronicle, Andhra Jyothy, and Sakshi Daily News on November 2, 2025, with the approval of Manoj Kumar, Chief Engineer, Construction, Road Safety Projects, South Central Railway. Objections were received by the Competent Authority (LA) & Revenue Divisional Officer, Eluru, and subsequently, the Competent Authority submitted its report to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the Act. Upon receipt of this report and exercising powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the Railway Act, 1989, the Central Government declares the annexation of the scheduled lands for the stated purpose. Furthermore, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20(E) of the Act, the Central Government declares that upon this notification's publication, the specified land, totaling 1.7675 acres across various survey numbers and ownership types (Patta, GP, Govt Dry, Inam Dry, Gramakantam), including structures and trees, shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances. S.O. 2377(E). - Whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board), number S.O.No.4909. Dated.27.10.2025 Published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II Section 3 Sub
section (ii), Gazette No.4758, dated. 28.10.2025 (herein after referred to as said notification) and issued under sub
section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government declares its intention to
acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the Construction of Road Over Bridge in
Lieu of Level Crossing No.364 at Km 518/6-8 in Kaikaram Village of Unguturu Mandal in Eluru District, in the state
of Andhra Pradesh.

And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers the Deccan Chronicle,
Andhra Jyothy and Sakshi Daily News paper on 02nd November, 2025 with the approval of Manoj Kumar, Chief
Engineer, Construction, Road Safety Projects, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, under sub -section (1);Section
20A of this Act.

And Whereas, Competent Authority (LA) & Revenue Divisional Officer, Eluru have objections received for
Kaikaram Village of Unguturu Mandal of Eluru District of Andhra Pradesh State.

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20(E) of this Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its
report to the Central Government.

Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands mentioned in
the Schedule have been annexed to be obtained here for the purpose mentioned above;

Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of this Act, the Central Government, hereby declares
on publication of notification in the Official Gazette, that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest
absolutely in the Central Government is from all encumbrances.
