NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 5th May, 2026
S.O. 2251(E). — In pursuance of Part-II, Sub-section (1) of Section 20D of the Indian Railways Act 1989
(20F of 1989), the Central Government hereby appoints the Officer mentioned in Column (2) of the Table below,
to be Arbitrator for the purpose of the 20K (Competent authority to have certain powers of Civil Court) who shall
exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed, on Arbitrator by or under the said Act within the
local limits of their respective jurisdictions as specified in column(3) and (4) of the said table. Sub-section (1) &
(3) of Section 20D of the Act shall be taken into consideration while passing awards by the Arbitrator.
