NOTIFICATION
Jaipur, 14th November, 2025
S.O. 5196(E). - Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North
Western Railway, Gati Shakti Organization), S.O. No. 4410 (E) dated 26 September, 2025 published in Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub section (ii) on dated 26 September, 2025 (herein after referred to as the
said notification) under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in
the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance and operation of Special Railway Project,
namely "Jerthi Dadia Goods Shed (JDD)- Development of Goods Shed/Freight Terminal with all facilities in
Jaipur Division" in District Sikar in the State of Rajasthan.
And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in the daily local newspapers namely
"Rajasthan Patrika” and “Dainik Bhaskar" dated 09th October, 2025 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said
Act:
And, whereas, no objections has been received from any person to the competent authority.
And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that the land
specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, The Central Government hereby
declare that on publication of the notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto
shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
