The Central Government has declared its intention to acquire land, as described in the annexed schedule, for the public purpose of executing a Special Railway Project, specifically the 'Construction of ROB in lieu of closing of manned of L.C.NO.342 at KM 642/9-11 between Stations Jadupudi(JPI)-Sompeta(SPT) on Howrah Visakhapatnam main line under Khurda Road Division' in Srikakulum district, Andhra Pradesh. Any person interested in the said land may raise an objection within thirty (30) days from the notification's publication date in the Official Gazette, under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the Act. Objections must be made in writing to the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA) & Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Palasa, who will provide an opportunity for hearing. Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of 20D of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and details are available for inspection at the competent authority's office. The acquired land, located in Ampuram Village, Kanchili Mandal, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh, totals 6.57 acres, comprising 0.61 acres of Government Land, 3.75 acres of Private WET land, 0.17 acres of Private DRY land, and 2.04 acres of Private IRRIGATED DRY land.

No. CAO/C/RSP/BBS/2026/ROB-342/20A] AJAY KUMAR SAMAL, Chief Engineer(Con-II) MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [East Coast Railway(Construction)] NOTIFICATION Bhubaneswar, the 18th March, 2026 Notice under Section 20A of the Railways Act-,1989 S.O. 1406(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 1989 (24/89) (hereinafter referred as the said Act.), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the Land, brief description of which is given in the schedule annexed here to is required for the execution of Special Railway Project, namely, “Construction of ROB in lieu of closing of manned of L.C.NO.342 at KM 642/9-11 between Stations Jadupudi(JPI)-Sompeta(SPT) on Howrah Visakhapatnam main line under Khurda Road Division.” in Srikakulum district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may within a period of (30) thirty days from the date of publication of the notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of section 20D of the said Act. Every objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA) & Revenue Divisional Officer(RDO), Palasa for Construction of ROB in lieu of closing of manned of L.C.NO.342 at KM 642/9-11 between Stations Jadupudi(JPI)-Sompeta(SPT) on Howrah Visakhapatnam main line under Khurda Road Division in writing, and shall set out grounds thereof and competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or through a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further inquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of 20D of the said Act shall be final.
