The Central Government hereby authorizes the Spl. Land Acquisition Officer, Collectorate, Sambalpur, to function as the Competent Authority under the said Act. This authorization is specifically for the area related to the construction of the "Sambalpur – Jarapada 3rd & 4th line of SBP Division of East Coast Railway". The project area covers districts Angul and Sambalpur in the state of Odisha. This authorization takes effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
