L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-MP-E-23072026-274711 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3749] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 2026/ASHADHA 24, 1948 5437 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [West Central Railway (Con-I)] NOTIFICATION Bhopal, the 11th June, 2026 S.O. 3912(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989( as Amendment Act 2008, the Central Government, After being satisfied that the land, brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for public purpose for execution, maintenance, management and operation of special Railway project construction of Etarsi-Bhopal-Bina Section (236.97 Km) 4th New Line in Bhopal District of the State of Madhya Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of section 20(d) of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made in writing to the Competent Officer and Competent Authority and Sub-Divisional Officer(Revenue), Sub-Division- Kolar, District Bhopal, M.P. and shall set out there in the grounds there of and the Competent Officer shall afford the applicant an opportunity of being heard either in person or through a legal practitioner and after hearing all such objection and making such further inquiry, if any, as the Competent Officer may deem necessary, may by order either allow or disallow the objection. The order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 20(d) of the said Act shall be final. The plan and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the above mentioned office of the competent authority and the office of Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Sub-Division Kolar and Deputy Chief Engineer, (Con-1) west central railway, Bhopal.
