8340 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5150 ] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY , DECEMBER 26, 2024 /PAUSHA 5 , 194 6 CG-MH-E-27122024-259653 1 0005/अ- MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Western Railway (Construction Organization) ] NOTIFICATION Mumbai , the 26th December , 2024 S.O. 5566(E). —Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number, S.O. 4661(E) dated the 25th October 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub -section (ii), dated the 25th October , 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification ) and is sued under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notificat ion for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely new BG line project from Dahod to Indore (through Jhabua, Sardarpur, Dhar and Pithampur) in Dhar district Tehsil Dhar Village Amkheda in the State o f Madhya Pradesh. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily News Papers ― “Free Press, Times Nation” & “Raj Express, Patrika” dated 2nd November 2024 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act. And whereas, in Amkh eda village objections were received, considered and the objections have been resolved and competent Authority have passed the orders accordingly; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its repor t to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central governm ent free from all encumbrances.
