No. T-43010/2/2024-TS-IBM-HQ.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 66 of the Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2017, the Notification No. T-43010/CGBM/91, dated the 19th February,1998 published in the Gazette of India, Part III, Section 1,dated the 7th March 1998, specifying the limits of territorial jurisdiction of the Controller of Mines and the Regional Controller of Mines of Indian Bureau of Mines for the purposes of the said rules is hereby amended as follows, namely: — (i) In the table specifying the territorial jurisdiction of the Controller of Mines and the Regional Controller of Mines of Indian Bureau of Mines, in the entry related to Zonal Office of 'Controller of Mines (South Zone)' in the first column, for the entry related to Regional Office of 'Hyderabad Region' in the second column and corresponding entries in the third and fourth columns, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- +----------------------+----------------+-----------------------------+ | Regional Office | State / UT | District | +======================+================+=============================+ | (4) Hyderabad Region:| Telangana | All districts | | | Maharashtra | Latur, Nanded and Osmanabad | +----------------------+----------------+-----------------------------+ | (5) Vijaywada Region:| Andhra Pradesh | All districts | +----------------------+----------------+-----------------------------+ 2. The above shall come into force with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. ORDER Ordered that these territorial jurisdictions of the Controller of Mines and the Regional Controllers of Mines of Indian Bureau of Mines, be published in the Gazette of India, Part III Section 1 for general information of all.
