The Ministry of Railways, Western Railway (Construction Organization), in S.O. 2381(E) dated 20th June 2024, records that pursuant to its earlier notification S.O. 3779(E) dated 23rd August 2023 under section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) declaring intention to acquire land for the Special Railway Project "New BG Line project From Dahod-Indore Via, Jhabua, Sardrapur, Dhar and Pithampur (204.76 km)" in Naugaon Bujurg village, Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, and following publication of the substance of that notification in "Free Press Journal", "Nai Duniya" and "Dainik Bhaskar" (all dated 26th August 2023) under section 20A(4), with nil objections received and the Competent Authority's report submitted under section 20(E)(1), the Central Government, in exercise of powers under sub-section (1) of Section 20(E), declares that the land in the annexed Schedule shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose and, under sub-section (2) of Section 20(E), that it shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances upon publication; the Schedule lists khasra numbers, land type/nature (predominantly private, irrigated land), affected area in hectares, and named landowners for parcels in Naugaon Bujurg village, Dhar tehsil, Dhar district.

NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 20th June, 2024

S.O. 2381(E).—Where as by the Notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number S.O. 3779(E), dated 23th August, 2023 published in Gazette of India Extraordinary. Part
II, section-3, Sub-section (ii), of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24of1989)(here in after referred to as the
said Act), the Central Government, has declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed
to the said notification 3779(J)date 23 Aug 2023 for execution, maintenance, management and operation of land to
be acquired with or without structure for the Special Railway Project, New BG Line project From Dahod - Indore
Via, Jhabua, Sardrapur, dhar and Pithampur (204.76km) in District Dhar, Village NauGaon Bujurg in the state of
Madhya Pradesh.

And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily "Free press Journal" dated
26th August, 2023 and “Nai Duniya”&“Dainik Bhaskar” dated 26th August, 2023 under sub-section (4) of Section
20A of the said Act. And, whereas, Nil objection has been received by the competent authority.

And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the competent authority
has submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the power
conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the
lands specified in the Schedule annexed here to shall be acquired for the afore said purpose.

And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20 (E) of the said Act, the Central
Government here by declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in
the Schedule aNnexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
