L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4274] NEW DELHI, THURS DAY , OCTOBER 12, 2023/ ASVINA 20, 1945 CG-MH-E-13102023-249396 20.8782 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS Western Railway (Construction Organization ), NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 11th October, 2023 S.O. 4445(E).—In exercise of the powe rs conferred by sub -section (i) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred in as the said Act), the Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which has given i n the schedule annexed hereto, is required for execution of Special Railway Project, namely, Ratlam – Indore - Dr. Ambedkar Nagar - Khandwa Gauge Conversion Project in the State of Madhya Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land: Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for a foresaid purpose under sub-section (1) of se ction 20D of the said Act: Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely, Sub -Divisional Officer & Land Acquisition Officer, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, District - Indore (M.P.), in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the compe tent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either al low or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority under sub -section (II) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be final. The Land Plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can b e inspected by the interested person aforesaid Off ice of the Competent Authority.
