CORRIGENDUM
Mumbai, the 11th October , 2023
(IN REGARD TO E -GAZETTE NOTIFICATION NO. 4185 DATED 06.10.2023, THE PARA MENTIONED
BELOW SHOULD BE TRE ATED AS CORRECTED DETAILS IN PREVIOUS NOTIFICATION)
S.O. 4456 (E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number, S.O 2820(E) dated the 28th June 2023 published in Ga zette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
section 3 Sub -section (ii), dated the 28th June, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification ) and issued under
sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the
said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the
said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project,
namely Daund -Manmad doubling project in the district of Ahmednagar in the State of Maharashtra.
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “ Loksatta‖
and ―Nagar Times‖ Dated 01st August 2023 under sub section (4) o f section 20A of the said Act;
And whereas, in Tandulwadi village, no objections were received and competent Authority have passed the
orders accordingly ;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section 20E of the said Act, the competent a uthority has submitted its
report to the Central Government;
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby decl ares that the lands specified in
the schedule annexed hereto shall be acqu ired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further , in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this not ification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed
hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
SCHEDULE
Brief description of the land to be acquired, with or without structures, falling w ithin the Special Railway Project
Daund – Manmad doubling project in Tandulwadi village in Ahmednagar District under Competent Authority
for Land Acquisition and Sub-Divisional Officer, Shrirampur Division, Shrirampur, Ahmednagr in the State of
