7628 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5020] NEW DELHI, MON DAY , DECEMBER 11, 2023/ AGRAHAYANA 20, 1945 CG-MH-E-11122023-250567 02 20 97/1/1/1/1 0.048 िपवर्जतत MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Western Railway (Construction O rganization) ] NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 11th December 2023 S.O. 5249(E). —Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number, S.O 3676 (E) dated the 16th August 2023 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub -section (ii), dated the 17 th August 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub -section (1) of section 20 (A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and railway (Amendment) Act 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely Nimach -Ratlam Doubling Project in the S tate of Madhya Pradesh; And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi)”, “Swatantra Elan (Hindi)” & “Free Press (English)” on 30th September 2023 by Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) and competent Authority, Mandsaur (M.P.) under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said act; And whereas, for Khatyakhedi and Piplyapanth village of Tehsil Malhargarh District Mandsaur, no objection received or village Tilakheda, two objections received to t he Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) and competent Authority, Mandsaur (M.P.); And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the repor t of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpo se; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest absolute ly in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
