NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd September , 2024
S.O. 3774 (E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Gov ernment of India in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number S.O. 4443(E), dated the 12th October, 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part II, Section 3, Sub – section (ii), dated the 12th October, 2023 and issued under sub -section (1) of section 20A of
the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its
intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execut ion of
the Special Railway Project, namely, New Brodgauge line intersections 5 (NOS) between Geratpur -Sanand and
Botad -Ahmedabad Project (16.51 KM) in District Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat.
And, whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local news papers,
namely, Times of India (English), dated the 19st October, 2023, Divy Bhaskar (Gujarati) dated the 19st October, 2023
and Young leader (Hindi) dated the 19st October, 2023 under sub -section (4) of section 20A of the said Act;
And, whereas, No objection have been received for Changodar village & 95 (Ninety Five) numbers of
objection have been received for Kolat village and the same have been considered and disa llowed by the competent
authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authori ty and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in
And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Govern ment hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed
hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
