NOTIFICATION
Bengaluru, the 26th August, 2025
S.O. 3911(E).—In the exercise of the powers conferred by clause (6) of section 20F and clause 7A of section
2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) the Ministry of Railway (South Western Railway, Construction Organization,
Bengaluru Cantonment) hereby authorizes the officer mentioned at column (4) in the table below as ‘Competent
Authority' and the officer mentioned at column (5) in the table below as ‘Arbitrator' to perform the functions as such
authority under the said act with effect from date of publication of this notification in the official gazette in respect of
Special Railway Projects mentioned at column (2) relating to districts mentioned at column (3) in the table below for
Land Acquisition required for the public purpose.
