NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th January, 2025
S.O. 532(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Destructive Insects
and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Plant
Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, namely:-
1. Short title and Commencement.-(1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into
India) (Third Amendment) Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In Schedule VI of the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of import into India) Order, 2003 in the existing entries
in serial number 262 Pome fruits (Apple) to be substituted with the following entries, namely:-
