NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th December, 2025
S. O. 6028(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of
1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of
the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and
Cooperation, vide number S.O. 79(E), dated the 3rd February, 1997, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 4th February, 1997, namely:-
In the said notification, for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be
substituted, namely:-
“1. Dr. Praveen Kumar Singh,
Agriculture Commissioner,
Department of Agriculture and
Farmers Welfare, New Delhi.
Chairman for a period of one year or until further orders
whichever is earlier from the date of publication of this
notification."
