Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Home Affairs, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, General Duty Cadre (Group 'B' Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, General Duty Cadre (Group 'B' Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2024, in the Schedule, against serial number 2 relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (General Duty), in column (10), in item (iii), for the words “from time to time”, the words " from time to time, failing which by promotion" shall be substituted.
