Jagvinder Bir Singh (Membership No. 086787), 204, Mandir Commercial Complex, Masjid Moth, N D S E II, NEW DELHI 110049, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Items (6), (7) and (8) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of name of CA. Jagvinder Bir Singh (Membership No. 086787) from the Register of Members for a period of 02(Two) years. In pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act and under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, the name of CA. Jagvinder Bir Singh (Membership No. 086787), was removed from the Register of Members for a period of 02(Two) years with effect from 28th June, 2024. Subsequently, the Respondent approached the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. The Hon’ble High Court vide its Order dated 8th July, 2024, disposed of the Writ Petition filed by CA. Jagvinder Bir Singh (Membership No. 086787) with the direction that the Order of the Disciplinary Committee dated 17th May, 2024 and the consequent Gazette notification no. PR/296/2015/DD/144/2016/DC/763/2018 dated 28th June, 2024 shall be kept in abeyance. Accordingly, in pursuance thereof, the Notification dated 28th June, 2024, whereby the name of CA.
