ORDER
New Delhi, the 24th September, 2025
S.O. 4361(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955
(10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following order further to amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic,
Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985, namely: -

(1) This Order may be called the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Ninth Amendment Order,
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985, in clause 29, relating to "Laboratory
for Analysis", for sub-clause (1C), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:-
"(1C) A biostimulant sample drawn by an inspector shall be analysed, in accordance with the procedure
contained in Part C of Schedule VI, in the Central Fertiliser Quality Control and Training Institute, Faridabad or
its regional laboratories at Mumbai, Chennai and Kalyani, National Institute of Plant Health Management,
Hyderabad, Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, Institute of Pesticide Formulation
Technology, Gurugram and National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms, Mau or in any other
laboratory notified for this purpose by the State Government with prior approval of the Central Government.”
