The Ministry of Home Affairs (Office of the Registrar General, India) issued Notification F. No. A-35013/02/2020-Ad-III/147 on 16th July, 2025, announcing the President's appointment of Shri J. Nivas, IAS (AP: 2010) as Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration for Andhra Pradesh. Shri J. Nivas, an officer from the Andhra Pradesh Cadre of the Indian Administrative Service, is appointed on central deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme, effective from 20.06.2025 (FN) for a period until 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. His Headquarters will be Hyderabad (Telangana). The notification was signed by BISWAJIT DAS, Dy. Director General.
