MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 26th September, 2024 S.O. 4706(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O.1394 (E), dated the15th March, 2024, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 15th March, 2024, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire the land measuring 350.68 hectares (approximately) or 866.16 acres (approximately) land and all rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule annexed to that notification; And whereas the competent authority in pursuance section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas the Central Government, after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting the Government of Jharkhand, is satisfied that the land measuring 350.68 hectares (approximately) or 866.16 acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the said Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land measuring 350.68 hectares (approximately) or 866.16 acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the Schedule are hereby acquired.
