iz'kklfud vf/kdkjh ¼fuekZ.k½ MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2 8th August, 2023 S.O. 3 814(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways, number S.O. 2175(E), dated the 12th May 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Par t II, Section 3, Sub–section (ii), dated 12th Ma y 2023 and issued under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notifi cation for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely, Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor Project in the district Gurugram, in the State of Haryana; And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers, namely, “Times of India” dated the 29th May, 2023, and “Danik Jagran” dated the 29th, May, 2023 under sub -section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whe reas, No ob jection has been r eceived. And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government Now, therefore, upon receipt of the repor t of the Competent Author ity, and in the exercise of t he powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid p urpose And further, in pu rsuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Gover nment free from all encumbran ces.
