Amendment in the RR for the post of Sub Inspector erstwhile Junior Intelligence Officer

EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 550] NEW DELH I, WEDNESDAY , SEPTEMBER 27, 2023/ ASVINA 5, 1945 CG-DL-E-27092023-249025 MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 14th August , 2023 G.S.R. 694(E).-- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Min istry of Home Affairs, Narcotics Control Bureau (Junior Intelligence Officer) Group ‘B’ post Recruitment Rules, 2022, namely: -- 1. Short title and commencement. –– (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Home Affairs, Narcotics Control Bureau (Junio r Intelligence Officer) Group ‘B’ post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Home Affairs, Narcotics Control Bureau (Junior Intelligence Offi cer) Group ‘B’ post Recruitment Rules 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the said Rules), -- (i) in the opening paragraph, for the words “Junior Intelligence Officer”, the words “Sub -Inspector” shall be substituted; (ii) in rule1, in sub -rule(1), for the brackets and words “(Junior Intelligence Officer)”, the brackets and words “(Sub -Inspector)” shall be substituted; (iii) in the schedule, -- (a) in column(1), for the words “Junior Intelligence Officer’, the words “Sub -Inspector” shall be substituted; (b) in column(2), for the figures and brackets “195*(2022)”, the figures and brackets “295*(2023)” shall be substituted.
