Shri Mayatra, an officer from the Gujarat Cadre of the Indian Administrative Service, is appointed as Director of Census Operations / Director of Citizen Registration for the regions of Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. This appointment is effective from 21st August, 2025 (FN) and is for a period until 31st December, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, on central deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme.
