N. 128(E).—In pursuance with the provisions outlined in sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India, hereby introduces the following amendments to its notification no. 434/PUDU/2023(2), dated 24-07-2023, as amended from time to time, in consultation with the Government of Puducherry. The following government officers, as mentioned in the table below, are appointed Assistant Returning Officers in Puducherry Parliamentary Constituency. Primary responsibility of these Assistant Returning Officers shall be to assist the Returning Officer of the Puducherry Parliamentary Constituency in the Union Territory of Puducherry in the process of counting of votes in General Election to House of the People, 2024 to be held on 04-06-2024. In the existing entries of the table appended to the notification no. 434/PUDU/2023(2), dated 24-07-2023, the following entries shall be added: +-------+---------------------------------------------+ | Sl.
