This decision is made in pursuance of clause (c) of Section 60 and Section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and aligns with the provisions of Part IIIA of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, as amended by the Ministry of Law & Justice, Govt. of India, vide Notification SO No. 1964(E), dated 19th June, 2020, and further read with relevant directions and guidelines issued by the Election Commission.
