L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-26072024-255773 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2855] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2024/SHRAVANA 4, 1946 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 26th July, 2024 S.O. 2996(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Arms Act, 1959 (54 of 1959), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 665(E) dated the 12th February, 2020, namely: - 1. In the said notification, in the Schedule, – (a) in serial number 2, in column number (3), for clause (iii), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: - "(iii) Pistol/Revolvers (excluding prohibited and restricted category) which are permitted to be used in any national/international competitions or sports events;"; (b) in serial number 5, in column number (3), for clause (iii), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: - "(iii) Pistol/Revolvers (excluding prohibited and restricted category) which are permitted to be used in any national/international competitions or sports events;".
