The Election Commission of India, vide Notification O.N. 29(E) dated 25th July, 2025, and in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Act, 1952 (31 of 1952), has, in consultation with the Central Government, appointed the Secretary General, Rajya Sabha, Parliament House, New Delhi, to serve as the Returning Officer for the Vice-Presidential Election, 2025. This notification is issued under F.No. 480/RO-ARO/2025(I) and is signed by SUMAN KUMAR DAS, Secretary.
