No. A-12013/13/RR/2016-UIDAI (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 54 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016), the Unique Identification Authority of India hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations, 2020, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These regulations may be called the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Amendment Regulations, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations, 2020, in the Schedule, against the post of— (a) "Private Secretary" in column (1), for the figures, brackets and words “40* (2020) *Subject to variation dependent on workload" in the corresponding entry in column (2), the figures "38" shall be substituted; (b) "Section Officer" in column (1), for the figures, brackets and words “59* (2020) *Subject to variation dependent on workload" in the corresponding entry in column (2), the figures “61” shall be substituted; and (c) "Assistant Technical Officer" in column (1), for the words “Deputation/Absorption/ Direct Recruitment” in the corresponding entry in column (3), the words "Deputation/ Absorption/Direct Recruitment/Contract” shall be substituted.
