Hazra Timir Kanti (Membership No. 054696), Plot No. 24, Sabuj Kanan, Gopalpur House, KOLKATA (West Bengal) 700136, guilty of Professional and Other Misconduct falling within the meaning of Item (1) of Part II of Se cond Schedule and Item (2) of Part IV of First Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of the name of CA. Hazra Timir Kanti (Membershi p No. 054696) from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) year and also imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000/ -(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only to be paid within 90(ninety) days of receipt of the order and in case of default in payment of fine within st ipulated time, his name be removed from the Register of Members for an additional period of 01(One) month. Since the Respondent had failed to pay the imposed fine within stipulated time, in pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee an d in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of said CA. Hazra Timir Kanti (Membership No. 054696) , shall stand removed for a consolidated period of 13(Thirteen) months [01 (One) year plus additional 01(one)month] with effect from 22nd September, 2023.
