EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( iii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY 1 2 No. 62] NEW DELHI, SATUR DAY , MARCH 2 3, 2024 /CHAITRA 3, 1946 CG-DL-E-23032024-253358 ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA NOTIFIC ATION New Delhi, the 22nd March , 202 4 O.N. 68(E).—In exercise of the power conferred by sub -Section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), read with Rule 27A of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, as inserted by the Conduct of Elections (Amendment) Rules, 1999, the Election Commission of India hereby appoints the officers, mentioned in column (2) of the Table below, as Assistant Returning Officers for the ‘specified’ and ‘notified’ class of voters, as notified by the Commission in its Notification No. 3/J&K -HP/2024 (N) and No. 3/J&K -HP/2024 (S) both dated 22nd March, 2024 to assist the Returning Officers of the Parliamentary Constituencies and the Returning Officers Corresponding Assembly Constituencies mentioned against their name in column (1) of that Table, and for the performance of the functions assigned t o such Assistant Returning Officers under Part -III A of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, as amended, at the General Elections to the House of the People from the Union Territory of J&K to constitute the Nineteenth Lok Sabha: - TABLE No. & Name of Parl iamentary Constituency and corresponding Assembly Constituency Assistant Returning Officer 1 2 1- Baramulla 1.
