Correspondingly, in column (4), under the subheading "Exceptional or Additional packing Rules," the item 'T-75 ISO Container' is to be inserted for 'Liquefied Ethane.' These amending rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. The principal rules (Railways Red Tariff Rules, 2000) were initially published vide G.S.R. 266 dated 15th July, 2000, and were last amended by notification number G.S.R. 719(E) dated 26th September, 2025.

(1) These rules may be called the Railways Red Tariff (Second Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Railways Red Tariff Rules 2000, in the Table II, in column (1), under the sub heading "Liquid Gases", the item 'Liquefied Ethane', may be inserted and correspondingly in column (4), under the sub heading "Exceptional or Additional packing Rules", the item 'T-75 ISO Container' shall be inserted for 'Liquefied Ethane'.
