The Ministry of Home Affairs (Women Safety Division), on behalf of the Central Government, issued Notification S.O. 4249(E) on September 22, 2025. In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 4 of the National Forensic Sciences University Act, 2020 (32 of 2020), the Central Government officially notifies that the campus established at Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, shall be included as a campus of the National Forensic Sciences University. The notification was signed by Prashant Sitaram Lokhande, Jt. Secretary, and carries F. No. 23011/20/2020-WS-III (Part).
