L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 669] NEW DEL HI, TUES DAY , NOVEMBER 21 , 2023/ KARTIKA 30, 1945 CG-DL-E-21112023-250183 MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th November, 2023 G.S.R. 852(E). —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) and clauses (b) and (c) of sub -section (2) of section 156 of the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992 (35 of 1992), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force, Pioneer Cadre (Group ‘B’ a nd ‘C’ Posts), Recruitment Rules, 2021, namely : — 1. Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force, Pioneer Cadre (Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force, Pioneer Cadre (Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ Posts), Recruitment Rules, 2021, in the Schedule, — against serial number 5, relating t o the post of Constable (Pioneer), in column (7), under the sub -heading ‘2, ‘Physical Standard’ , for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely: — For Male For Female Height Chest Height Chest “I. Minimum height for all ca ndidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes 162.5 Centimeters 76-81 Centimeters 150 Centimeters Not applicable II. Minimum height for candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras , Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Union territories of Kashmir and Ladakh.
