L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-21102024-258096 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4220] NEW DELHI, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2024/ASVINA 27, 1946 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th October, 2024 S.O. 4589(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub -section (ii), number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006, the Central Government hereby makes the further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, vide number S.O. 4361 (E), dated the 19th September,2022 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), namely:- In the said notification,- (i) in paragraph 1, for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely: - "1. Dr. Meeta Biswal, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Project Director, Odisha Forestry Sector Development Project, State Forestry Training Research Institute Campus, Ghatikia, Bhubaneswar, Odisha-751029 Chairman;"; (ii) after paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely:- "2A. The tenure of Dr. Meeta Biswal shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the other Members of the Authority.". [F. No. IA3-1/3/2022-IA.III] Dr. AMANDEEP GARG, Addnl. Secy.
