Detailed Summary

The Central Government, through Notification G.S.R. 567(E) issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare) on 18th July, 2025, has exercised its powers under section 19 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968) read with rule 21 of the Insecticides Rule, 1971. This action appoints seven officers from the National Institute of Plant Health Management in Hyderabad as Insecticide Analysts. The appointed officers, designated to serve for chemical pesticides across the whole of India, include the Director (Pesticide Management Division), Joint Director (Chemistry), Deputy Director (Chemistry), Assistant Director (Pesticide Monitoring and Residue Analysis), Assistant Director (Pesticide Formulation Analysis), Scientific Officer (Pesticide Management Division), and Assistant Scientific Officer (Pesticide Management Division).
