The Ministry of Mines, through Notification S.O.3326(E) dated 18th July, 2025, extends the period of notification for M/s. Gemcokati Exploration Private Limited as a 'Category A Exploration Agency'. This extension is for a further period of three years from the date of expiry of the original notification G.S.R. 285(E) dated 7th April, 2022, or till the expiry of its re-accreditation, or until a further order, whichever is earlier. The Central Government exercises powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), following M/s. Gemcokati Exploration Private Limited's re-accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training of the Quality Council of India (QCI-NABET). The extension is also in accordance with guidelines issued vide Ministry of Mines Order No. M.VI-16/15/2021-Mines VI, dated 12th August, 2021. This notification, signed by Jt. Secy. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-21072025-264840 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3253] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JULY 18, 2025/ASHADHA 27, 1947 4849 GI/2025 MINISTRY OF MINES NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 18th July, 2025 S.O.3326(E).— Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government notified M/s. Gemcokati Exploration Private Limited under 'Category A Exploration Agencies' vide notification number G.S.R. 285(E) dated the 7th April, 2022 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), dated the 7th April, 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification); 2. And whereas, upon completion of its initial accreditation period, M/s. Gemcokati Exploration Private Limited has obtained re-accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training of the Quality Council of India (QCI-NABET); 3. Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act and in accordance with the guidelines for notification of accredited private exploration agencies issued by the Government of India in the Ministry of Mines vide Order No. M.VI-16/15/2021-Mines VI, dated the 12th August, 2021 for the purposes of the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby extends the period specified in the said notification for a further period of three years from the date of expiry of the said notification or till expiry of the re-accreditation granted or further order, whichever is earlier. 4.
