Detailed Summary

This notification, S.O. 1796(E), issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, on April 16, 2025, is issued in pursuance of Sub-Rule (4) of Rule 10 of the Official Language (Use for Official Purposes of the Union) Rule, 1976 (as amended in 1987). The Central Government hereby notifies ten specific offices under the administrative control of the Directorate of Plant Protection Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad. This notification is made because 80% of the staff in these listed offices has acquired a working knowledge of Hindi. The notified offices include Central Integrated Pest Management Centres in Nashik, Itanagar, and Aizawl, and Plant Quarantine Stations in Raxaul, Jogbani, Thiruvananthapuram, Sonauli, Guwahati, Kakinada, and Banbasa.
