NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th November, 2025
G.S.R. 858(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Mines and
Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following
further amendments in the Second Schedule to the said Act, namely:-
2. In the Second Schedule to the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, —
(i) after item 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

|"6A. |Caesium: |Two per cent. of the average sale price of Caesium metal |
| | |chargeable on the Caesium metal contained in the ore |
| | |produced."; |

(ii) for item 22 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

|"22. |Graphite: | |
| | | |
| |(i) With eighty per cent. or more fixed carbon |Two per cent. of average sale price on ad valorem basis.|

| |(ii) With less than eighty per cent. fixed |Four per cent. of average sale price on ad valorem basis.”;|

(iii) after item 38B and the entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

| | |chargeable on the Rubidium metal contained in the ore |

(iv) after item 54A and the entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

|"54B. |Zirconium: |One per cent. of the average sale price of Zirconium metal |
| | |chargeable on the Zirconium metal contained in the ore |
| | |produced.". |
