The Branch shall be known as Tonk District Branch of Central India Regional Council and its Headquarters shall be at Tonk. The Jurisdiction of the Branch besides the following Places shall cover whole District of Tonk: - 1. Tonk 2. Deoli 3. Dooni 4. Malpura 5. Newai 6. Peeplu 7. Todarisingh 8. Uniara 9. Nagarfort As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and directions of the Council through Central India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council. [ADVT.-III/4/Exty./135/2024-25] NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 10th May, 2024 (Chartered Accountants) No. 1-CA (7)/220/2024 Whereas the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India vide notification no. 1.CA.(24)/61 dated 19th March 1962 w.e.f 1st April 1962 had set up a Branch of Southern India Regional Council at Madurai under Regulation 136(1) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1964. Now in partial modification of the aforesaid notification, the Council of the Institute hereby notify the detachment of Theni from the Jurisdiction of Madurai Branch of SIRC of ICAI. The effective date of detachment of Theni (Tamil Nadu) from the Jurisdiction of Madurai Branch of SIRC of ICAI will be April 26th, 2024. C.A. (Dr.) JAI KUMAR BATRA, Secy. It is hereby notify that the name of Aurangabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI has been changed as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Branch of WIRC of ICAI.
