Detailed Summary

Pursuant to an order dated 29.07.2025 by a Division Bench of the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka in Civil Petition No. 53/2014, Shri Manish Agarwal (M. NO. 208588), residing at G701, Golden Sqare Chs Sundar Nagar Kalina Mumbai -400098, has been found guilty of "Professional Misconduct" as defined under Clause (7) of Part I read with Clause (ii) of Part II of the Second Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Consequently, in terms of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, and the High Court's order, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, through its notification F. No. 29-CA/Law/D-331/2025 dated 4th November, 2025, in New Delhi, has ordered the removal of Shri Manish Agarwal's name from the Register of Members for a period of three years, effective from the date of the notification's publication.

NO. 208588), Permanent/Professional Address: G701, Golden Sqare Chs Sundar Nagar Kalina Mumbai -400098 be removed from the Register of Members for a period of three years after finding him guilty of "Professional Misconduct" falling within the meaning of Clause (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule read with Clause (ii) of Part II of the Second Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Now, therefore, pursuant to the said order of the Hon'ble Karnataka High Court dt. 29.07.2025 and in terms of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the said Act read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is hereby notified that the name of Shri Manish Agarwal (M.NO. 208588) stands removed from the Register of Members for a period of three years w.e.f. the date of publication of this notification.
