NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th November, 2024
Ο. Ν. 197(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the
Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby directs that
following amendment shall be made in its Notification No. 434/MH-HP/2024 dated 24th January, 2024,
relating to the appointment of Assistant Returning Officers for Parliamentary Constituencies in the State
of Maharashtra namely;
In column 4 of the Table appended to the said notification, against Assembly Segment 85-
Bhokar, 86-Nanded North, 87-Nanded South, 89-Naigaon, 90-Degloor (SC) and 91 Mukhed, as
specified under column 3 of the said notification, after the existing entry the following entry shall be
added :-

These Additional AROs will only assist ROs for counting of votes.
All the above Officers, as mentioned in column 4 of the Table shall cease to function as
Assistant Returning Officers after the completion of the Counting of votes in respect of bye-election to 16 –
Nanded Parliamentary Constituency, 2024.
