Amendment in constituting the National Tiger Conservation Authority

L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3935] NEW DELHI, TUES DAY , SEPTEMBER 19, 2023/ BHADRA 28, 1945 CG-DL-E-19092023-248825 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONM ENT, FOREST AND CLIM ATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 18th September , 202 3 S.O. 4100 (E) .—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -sections (1) and (2) of section 38L of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), t he Central Government hereby appoints the following members to the National Tiger Conservation Authority for a period of three years, from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment, Forest number S.O. 1403(E), dated the 4th September, 2006, namely: – In the said notification, – (i) for serial numbers 6 to 13 and the entries rel ating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall respectively be substituted, namely: – “6. Shri S.S. Srivastava, Former Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Head of Forest Force, Odisha - Member 7. Shri Rahul Bhatnagar , Former Field Director Ranathambore Tiger reserve, Udaipur, Rajasthan - Member 8. Shri Ravi Singh, Secretary General, World Wide Fund for Nature - India , Lodhi Estate , New Delhi - Member 9. Dr. Roop Narayan Mandwe, M.B.B.S., D.C.P. Consultant Pathologist, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh - Member 10. Dr. Pradeep K. Malik, Former Senior Professor - Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, Uttarakhand - Member 11. Shri W. Longvah , Former Inspector General of Forests, National Tiger Conservation Authority, Regional Office, Guwahati, Bashishta Chariali, Guwahati, Assam - Member 12. Dr. H.S Negi, Former Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife), Madhya Pradesh - Member 13. Dr. Madhu Verma, Former Faculty Member, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal - Member” ; (ii) for serial numbers 22 to 27 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely: – “22. Chief Wildlife Warden, Rajasthan - Member 23 Chief Wildlife Warden, Odisha - Member 24 Chief Wildlife Warden, Tamil Nadu - Member 25 Chief Wildlife Warden, Uttarakhand - Member 26 Chief Wildlife Warden, Mizoram - Member 27 Chief Wildlife Warden, Chhattisgarh - Member”.
