These notifications appoint the Chief Immigration Officer, Bureau of Immigration, as the "Civil Authority" for the purpose of the said Order for specific Immigration Check Posts. Specifically, S.O. 2222(E) makes the appointment for the Immigration Check Post located at Surat Airport in the jurisdiction of the State of Gujarat, superseding Notification No. S.O. 2394(E) dated 01.06.2018. S.O. 2223(E) makes the appointment for the Immigration Check Post located at Madurai Airport in the jurisdiction of the State of Tamil Nadu, superseding Notification No. S.O. 1818(E) dated 02.07.2015. S.O. 2224(E) makes the appointment for the Immigration Check Post located at Kandla Seaport in the jurisdiction of the State of Gujarat, superseding previous notifications issued by the Central Government/State Government. S.O. 2225(E) makes the appointment for the Immigration Check Post located at Dawki in the jurisdiction of the State of Meghalaya, also superseding previous notifications issued by the Central Government/State Government. All appointments are effective from 19th May, 2025. The notifications are signed by SUSHMA CHAUHAN, Jt. Secy., and bear the common file number F. No. 25022/13/2022-Imm (Pt.II).
